The heartbeat of our movement lies in a desire to see many walks of life come together for the betterment of humanity. Our goal is to highlight the change makers in society and mobilize their reach. These brave, hard-working individuals lay down their time, money, hearts, and lives to raise others up out of dire circumstances.

Our team has worked in these places and we have seen the chronic underfunding of non-profit organizations. With increasing social needs, shrinking donor bases, decreased grant availability, and difficulty with in-person gatherings, the financial strain on these organizations continues to grow.

These circumstances bring up the age-old question: who helps the help?

That’s where we come in.

Help the Help is the first purpose-driven movement of its kind. We aim to provide a platform connecting creatives, businesses and not-for-profit charities. We marry the creative arts with business ventures to make products with aesthetic appeal and real-life usability, and then donate twenty percent of our sales to their cause.

The dream started over God talks, hot drinks, doodling on napkins, and our involvement in the social justice world. Some of our first collabs happened in Edmonton, where we inspired initiatives with local artisans, vendors and advocacy groups, generating marketplace pop-up events throughout our city. Our goal from the beginning was about creating a space where people from different walks of life could come together, gain awareness and give back in a big way!

We are excited to curate a community that mobilizes change and unlocks potential for dreamers in our society. We believe that together we can holistically reach the tangible needs of those in frontline work through love, creativity, consistency, innovation, and by dreaming big. We are confident that these relationships will improve the economic, social and environmental wellbeing of our world around us.

So come join us.

Help the Help.

Adrienne is the creator and founder of Help the Help Inc. Born and raised on the east coast (Newfoundland), adventuring to LA and now calling Edmonton home, she refers to herself as an “artist without borders” and is passionate about creating sustainable change in the world around her. A graduate of pastoral studies at Vanguard college, she has worked on the frontlines as a missionary intervening in the lives of women trapped in the sex trade. Her passion has led her to work in the USA, Eastern Europe and the Middle East. After seeing the lack of resources many organizations are faced with, she became passionate about using her giftings to create change. For the last five years, she has come alongside nonprofits, helping them with fund- development initiatives, as well as strengthening their marketing and communication efforts, to propel their mission and mandate forward.

Adrienne utilizes the power of storytelling and helps creatives, businesses and nonprofits to share their vision! She has led the charge in many local and international incentives, raising over half a million dollars for charity. Help the Help has been a dream of hers for the last seven years, and her desire is that the space would be a place for people to dream again. A place where creators, misfits, entrepreneurs, world changers, and everyone in between, would overcome the odds and leave their mark on the world!

Sarah is a recent addition to the Help the Help team, but she feels like she has been preparing for this role her whole life! From concession stands, to chocolate bar campaigns she has been fundraising for nonprofits since she was a little girl. Sarah is known for her ability to ask good questions, connect with people from all walks of life, and her smile brightens everyone’s day!

Sarah migrated west after completing her Master’s in Occupational Therapy and loves living in the City of Champions! Her greatest joy is to see people delight in their everyday lives. She has a strong ability to facilitate community and equip others in practical steps for success. Her passion and faith motivate her to help countless individuals overcome physical, emotional, and spiritual barriers.

Sarah just completed her first Ironman…you heard that right folks! So if you need Monday morning motivation she’s the girl to get you moving!  We love what she brings to our team, and believe she will play a vital role in connecting organizations to our mission, helping resource them for the work they do.  She is SO excited to be a part of a new movement of change-makers, that our society so desperately needs.

Jen is our southern belle– can’t you tell? She is known for her love for people and her incredible faith. When it comes to design, Jen can put her hand to just about anything; her keen eye for detail and fashion-forward sense make anything she creates beautiful! With that said, she is beautiful both inside and out and it carries through in everything that she does. For the last few years she has spent her time doing inner city work, developing different outreaches and targeted ministries for those in need. Her goal has always been to combine her love for art with her desire to impact the world around her.

Most of Jen’s inspiration and flaircame from her time living in Los Angeles, California where she worked with the LA Dream Centre. The reality of mixing creativity with making a difference became possible there. Jen is currently part of a launch team in Tampa, Florida for a church called City of God. She has been designing bibles and working on a clothing line called Wise & Innocent. The line can’t go unnoticed for its street sense, practicality and brilliant design concepts.

Jen hopes to inspire people to step into their true identity and purpose, making the world a little more like Heaven wherever they go. Stay tuned for some slick creations as Jen leads the way in our creative collabs.

Alicia is a proud Texas Aggie and a fourth grade teacher, but many know her as “the painter” at youth camps and churches all over Texas. Painting on stages and seeing God show up in each brushstroke never gets old for her!

Most recently, she has had the privilege of sharing prophetic art on an arts and community team in Scotland. From galleries to outdoor face painting, she delights in seeing people come together to inspire beauty in their cities.

It doesn’t stop there! Her journey peaks as her passion for art and mission work led her to North Cyprus. She formed a love for the people, kabobs, long walks along the mediterranean sea, as well as partnering with ministries in both north and south to meet local needs.

Overall, Alicia lives to see joy and innovation collide for the benefit of the individual. If that means going across the world to hand someone a piece of art or using her designs to help a bigger cause, she is passionate about the betterment of people.
